Driver’s Ed Part 1:
Storage and Organization with Google Drive (1 hour)

In the Storage and Organization with Google Drive course, participants can expect to gain a thorough understanding of how to use Google Drive as a cloud storage solution. We will explore the advantages of Google Drive’s easy to use platform and learn how to organize files for easy access, upload new files to Google drive, and share files and folders with others for increased and improved collaboration. The Storage and Organization with Google Drive course will explore how Google makes it easy to convert existing Microsoft files into the editable, collaborative, and cloud based Google format. Additionally, participants will learn how to use Google Drive to upload, organize, and store various forms of multimedia content (such as images and videos) directly from mobile devices such as iPhones, Android devices, iPads, and tablets.

Driver’s Ed Part 1:

Driver’s Ed Part 2:
Google Docs and Slides (1 hour)

In the Google Docs and Slides course, participants can expect to gain a thorough understanding of how to use Google Docs and Google Slides to create, edit, and share original documents and presentations in the cloud based Google Drive environment. Participants will learn how to open and edit their existing Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents in Google Docs and Google Slides so that cloud based editing and presentation, as well as real time collaboration can occur. The course will also cover how to convert Google Docs and Slides into Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents. Participants will learn new ways to increase productivity as they explore the sharing and collaborative features of Google Docs and Slides. Ease of use, as well as overall workflow improvement, increased collaboration, and of course a great leap towards a paperless environment, are some of the MANY advantages of using Google Docs and Slides.

Driver’s Ed Part 3:
Google Forms and Sheets (1 hour)

In the Google Forms and Sheets course, participants can expect to gain a thorough understanding of how to use Google Forms to create questionnaires, surveys and polls, or assessments, and then invite others to respond. Additionally, participants will learn how to connect Google Forms to spreadsheets in Google Sheets so that all responses are collected and assembled automatically for easy to analyze response data. Responses collected in Google Forms and Sheets can be saved as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. After this course, participants will be able to use Google Forms and Sheets to promote the collection of information in an easy, streamlined manner.
